Double Glazed Double Hung Aluminium Windows – Classic Operation, Modern Thermal Performance
SKATE's double glazed double hung aluminium windows pair the timeless vertical-sliding sash design with contemporary aluminium engineering. Both the upper and lower sashes slide independently on concealed spring balance systems, allowing ventilation from the top, the bottom, or both at once - while the slim 6063-T5 aluminium frames carry far larger glass areas than traditional timber or vinyl equivalents.
Every unit is glazed with factory-sealed double glazing (Low-E and argon-fill options) and built on PA66 GF25 thermal break profiles, eliminating the cold bridging of ordinary aluminium frames. Both sashes tilt inward for safe exterior glass cleaning from inside the room.
