Standard casement windows are the most widely specified operable window type worldwide - side-hinged sashes that swing open like a door, sealing against the frame on all four sides when closed. Because the closing action compresses the sash into continuous EPDM gaskets, casement windows consistently achieve the best air- and water-tightness ratings of any operable window format. SKATE's standard casement range is built on proven 6063-T5 thermal break aluminium profiles and has been our best-selling window system for over two decades.
Available in outward-opening (friction stay) and inward-opening (hinge) configurations, as single sashes, French pairs, or multi-light assemblies combined with fixed panels.
