In coastal and high-rise locations, windows must resist strong, sustained wind pressure and wind-driven rain. SKATE high wind-load windows use heavy-duty profiles, glass sized to your design pressure and a three-chamber drainage design.
Built for Wind Pressure
- Wind load resistance of 5.0 kPa (grade 9, the top class of GB/T 31433) on our 75 tilt and turn, 95 and W110 series
- Safety test (Pmax) at 7.5 kPa, positive and negative pressure
- Heavy-duty 6063-T5 aluminum profiles with up to 2.0 mm walls (110H series)
- CNC-machined joints to ±0.05 mm, which our tests show improve wind resistance by about 15%
- Seamless welded corners with joint strength of at least 85% of the profile

Our 76M tilt and turn window is certified to AS 2047 (StandardsMark SMK41686) with an SLS design wind pressure of 800 Pa and ULS of 2000 Pa at 1500 × 600 mm.
