Aluminum alloy window is a commonly used building decoration material, which has the advantages of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, fire prevention, sound insulation, heat preservation, etc., and is widely used in various civil buildings and commercial buildings. The surface treatment process of aluminum alloy Windows uses a variety of processes such as pickling containing oxalic acid and electrophoretic coating, anodic oxidation, electrostatic powder spraying, etc. These surface treatment processes have their own unique characteristics.

Wood grain transfer

Through the thermal transfer film or paper, the pattern printed on the transfer film is transferred to the profile. Generally, the profile is pickled first (so that the background color is easy to adhere to the profile surface), and then the wood grain primer is sprayed on the profile, the air is pumped out when the film is applied, and the ink is baked in the oven at 190°-200°. There are cherry, teak, yellow purlin wood, white oak and other textures. This kind of image is realistic, but the weather resistance is poor.

Electrophoretic painting

Electrophoretic paint is treated by electrophoresis after anodizing. The aluminum profile electrophoresis refers to the process of putting the aluminum profile in the electrophoresis tank and forming a dense resin film on the surface after the current. Its film is a composite coating of anodic oxide film + electrophoretic coating, and its weather resistance is stronger than that of anodic oxide profile. Electrophoretic profiles look gorgeous, but the film is easy to scratch.

Electrostatic powder spraying

Powder coating by electrostatic spray molding machine powder coating to the surface of the profile, under the action of static electricity, powder will be uniformly adsorbed on the surface of the profile, forming powder coating. This coating is generally more than 30 microns.

Advantages: corrosion resistance, weather resistance, crashworthiness, wear resistance, can be eroded by ultraviolet radiation and acid rain for a long time without coating powder, fading, falling off phenomenon.

Disadvantages: Long-term ultraviolet radiation will naturally fade, and there will be obvious color difference indoors and outdoors (generally 2 to 3 years).

Fluorocarbon spraying

Fluorocarbon spraying is a coating made of polyvinylidene fluoride resin as the base material or aluminum powder as the color material. Because the fluorocarbon base material is fluorine/carbon is a chemical short chain property, this bond with hydrogen ions is the most stable.

Advantages: stable chemical structure, wear resistance, crashworthiness, corrosion resistance, frost resistance, crack resistance can withstand ultraviolet radiation for a long time and have stronger fading resistance than powder spraying, similar to automotive surface paint, high-end materials have self-cleaning characteristics and wash resistance.
Disadvantages: Metal surface liquid coating is greatly affected by liquid paint and water in compressed air.
