The 137th China Import and Export Fair was successfully concluded at the Guangzhou Pazhou International Exhibition Center on the 19th. As China's oldest and largest comprehensive international trade event, this year's Canton Fair, with the theme of "Advanced Manufacturing", attracted more than 200,000 buyers from more than 210 countries and regions around the world to attend the offline fair, and the number of visits to the online platform exceeded 10 million. The scale of the Canton Fair is shocking. The exhibition area is 1.55 million square meters, with a total of about 74,000 booths and more than 31,000 exhibitors. This scale not only demonstrates the strong resilience of China's foreign trade, but also reflects China's core position in the global supply chain.

Online and offline integration, innovation drives trade upgrade

This year's Canton Fair continues the "online and offline integration" model. The total offline exhibition area is 1.5 million square meters, with 55 exhibition areas, covering 16 major categories of goods such as home appliances, electronics, machinery, building materials, and consumer goods; the online platform provides all-weather trade docking services for international merchants who cannot be present through VR exhibition halls, live streaming, and intelligent matching. According to statistics, more than 35,000 companies participated in the exhibition, among which high-tech, green and low-carbon products became the highlights, and the order volume of "Chinese smart manufacturing" products such as new energy equipment and smart home increased significantly year-on-year.

Green building materials have become the mainstream, and energy-saving products are popular

At this Canton Fair, the building materials door and window exhibition area was themed "green, low-carbon, smart home", and concentrated on displaying energy-saving products such as thermal break aluminum windows and doors, Low-E glass, and photovoltaic integrated curtain walls. Many companies have launched door and window systems that have passed the EU CE certification and the US ENERGY STAR standard. Their thermal insulation and sound insulation performance are more than 30% higher than traditional products. Thomas, a buyer from Germany, said: "Chinese building materials companies are no longer just price advantages. The technical standards have been aligned with international standards. We plan to purchase an additional $2 million worth of energy-saving doors and windows."
